Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of our website, and the services provided through it, including enrolment in our Early Childhood Development (ECD) NQF Level 4 Diploma course. By using our website and enrolling in our courses, you agree to comply with these Terms.

To enrol in our ECD NQF Level 4 Diploma courses, you must meet the required educational prerequisites or qualify through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) as determined by our assessment process.

Enrolment in our courses is subject to availability. We reserve the right to accept or decline any application for enrolment based on our eligibility criteria.

Course fees are detailed on our website and are subject to change. All fees must be paid in accordance with the payment terms outlined below.

Payment Schedule: Payments for the course must be made monthly in advance . Failure to make the advance payment by the due date (on or before the 7^th of every month) may result in suspension or cancellation of your enrolment.
Payment Methods Available:
We accept various payment methods, including credit card, debit card, bank transfer, and online payment platforms. Details of the accepted payment methods are:

- Once-off EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)
- Monthly Stop order (attach the stop order paperwork that needs to be signed/submitted by/to their bank)
- No direct ATM deposits will be processed
- Monthly Payment options*:

EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) – 1 month advance payment and monthly EFT payments due each 1^st of the month (Regardless of calendar day)
Automated Recurring Payment (Through PayFast) – 1 month advance payment and monthly automated payments due each 1^st of the month (Regardless of calendar day, PayFast activation link will be emailed to you)

10 Months Instalment (R980 deposit & R980 X 09 Months – Total Repayable: R9,800 Over 10 months)
12 Months Instalment (R817 deposit & R817 X 11 Months – Total Repayable: R9,804 Over 12 months)
18 Months Instalment (R817 deposit & R817 X 17 Months – Total Repayable: R14,706 Over 18 months)

Non-Refundable Fees: Once payment has been made, it is non-refundable except in circumstances where the course is cancelled by us. No refunds will be issued for partial attendance or incomplete coursework.

5.a Erroneous Purchases:

Due to the nature of our business, should you have made a purchase erroneously we will refund the amount in full. (*Refund amount will be Total payment less any costs incurred by ECD Online (PTY) LTD such as payment portal, bank fees and any other related costs.
All tests/quizzes and assignments need to be completed in full. A student cannot leave the test after it is started. Leaving the test before it is completed will result in a zero [0] score for the test, resulting in a lower final grade. ECD Online (Pty) LTD will not be held liable for incompletion of a test/quiz/assignment.

iii. Should a student have used an incorrect email address an administrative fee of R100.00 will be levied to change these details.

Upon successful enrolment and payment, you will be granted access to the online course materials. Each Module needs to be completed before the next module will be released. This access is personal to you and must not be shared with others.

To successfully complete the course and receive your NQF Level 4 Diploma, you must meet all the course requirements, including participation in assessments, assignments, and examinations including your EISA external examination. Failure to meet these requirements may result in your failure to complete the course.

If you apply for enrolment through RPL, you must provide the necessary documentation and participate in an assessment process. The decision to award credits based on RPL is at our discretion and is final.

All course materials, including but not limited to text, images, videos, and assessments, are the intellectual property of ECD Online and are protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use these materials for any purpose other than personal learning.

As a student of EDC Online, you are expected to always behave in a professional and respectful manner. Any form of misconduct, including cheating, plagiarism, or harassment, may result in disciplinary action, including expulsion from the course.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. All personal information collected during the enrolment process and throughout the course will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website: https://ecdonline.co.za/privacy-policy/

ECD Online is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of our website or participation in our courses. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms is limited to the amount of the course fees you have paid.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our website and services constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

ECD Online is not a FSP. Any Financial Services are provided through our payment partners Yoco & PayFast and their affiliated FSP’s. ECD Online will however facilitate the monthly stop order process by providing students the required details for them to initiate the their stop order process, if this is the method they have chosen to pay for their course.
